Coming out of our community AMA last week, we are combining our Mobie Monday with a robust July update about what we’ve been working on and give an overview for those of you who couldn’t make it!
The Audits
- There are 5 audits being done at the moment: Token Audit, Banking compliance audit, Devops Audit, Security audit, and a UX audit
- The audits will take 45–60 days to complete
- Once they’re complete, we may have to spend some time fixing any issues discovered during the audit
- We are working tirelessly for approval to launch the app to the waitlist while the token audit is continuing, as that has the longest runway.
By The Numbers
- As of the AMA, we have over 7,000 accounts using the Mobie Web Wallet
- Over 27,000 people on the waitlist
MobieSwap Development
- We’re renaming MobieX to MobieSwap
- Moving to a similar design as Uniswap/Pancake Swap
- Exploring stablecoin functionality by becoming a Stellar anchor
- BSC Bridge has been live for one month and is doing very well
- Discussing changing the ethereum fee structure to match the Binance bridge to prevent people from burning all of their tokens in bridge fees.
- Currently working on supporting a MATIC bridge.
MobieApp Development
- New UX/UI, with Apple engineer auditing the design.
- New token integrations have been done
- The affiliate Ambassador program will be released once the compliance audit is complete
Roadmap Update
Because of compliance audits, we need to wait to release more specifics until that is done so that we can understand the order in which things can be released.
Tokenized Community
Supporting wMBX at launch, possibly the binance smart chain wrap as well
There will be 3 levels at launch, with each higher level getting access to all privileges of lower tiers
- Bronze Tier: Access to ongoing roadmap discussions, swag updates and deals
- Silver Tier: Early access to AMA questions, upvoting on AMA questions, voting privileges on community concerns for consideration from the team
- Gold Tier: Most interaction from C-Suite, provide direct feedback and insights, sharing more of our corporate initiatives that are internal, stronger voting privileges
Gaming Retailers
We’ve announced a few new retailers that will be a part of our initial game categories.
XBox, Sony, TOPGolf, STARZ, and Regal have been picked to start building out the “gaming” category of places you will be able to pay using the Mobie App! Be on the lookout for more Beta Retailers coming soon.
Waitlist Competition
Winners have been finalized! The $35,000 waitlist competition was a roaring success and we are proud to announce that the winners have been selected. You should receive an email this if you were selected as one of the lucky lotto winners as well as the top five.
